Do not buy gold bullion form unknown sources

A few weeks ago, I finally decided to invest the money I had been keeping in my safe. I had been given the money for my eighteenth birthday and didnt really know what to do with it. I had been thinking of buying a house in the mountains or maybe travelling around the world, but then decided to postpone it and invest the money. I found a man who sold gold bullion on a popular online auction and shopping website. He seemed reliable, his previous customers had left generally positive comments, and his gold seemed to be of excellent quality. I decided to buy as many as fifty gold bullion bars. I clicked on the basket, purchased the bars, contacted the man and transferred the money to his account. Then I waited and waited, but no feedback came from him. I started to worry because a week later, I was still waiting for my packet or any message from the seller. Finally, after a month, he sent me an email saying he didnt know who I was and he never received any money from me! I was furious! I wanted my gold bullion bars or my money back, but he stopped answering me emails and phone calls again. I have contacted the shopping website but the say they cant help - they are not a party to the transaction. I guess Ill have to call the police as soon as possible.
